Your remote team looks fine on paper. I help you find what's breaking underneath.

Remote Flo helps founders of remote teams diagnose the retention, communication, and morale problems that quietly build up during growth. Before they get expensive.

I'm not an HR consultant. I think like a founder.

Most remote teams with 20+ people hit the same wall. Communication gets noisy. Good people start disengaging. Managers are winging it. You can feel something's off, but you can't pin it down.

That's where I come in.

What I Look At

Retention Signals

The quiet patterns that predict who's about to

leave, before they tell you.

Team Morale
The difference between "we're fine" on Slack and what people actually feel. Early burnout, quiet disengagement, eroding trust.

Communication Health
Where messages get lost, context collapses, and async breaks down.

Manager Effectiveness
Whether your leads are building trust or burning through it.

Find out what's really going on

The Remote Org Diagnostic is a fast, focused assessment that surfaces the retention and productivity risks hiding in your team. You get a concrete action plan, not a 40-page report that collects dust.

Async Intake

You fill out a short questionnaire (10–15 min) so I can understand your team structure, growth stage, and where the friction is showing up.

Live Diagnostic Call

I get on a call with you and one or two key leads (60–90 min). We go deep on communication patterns, manager effectiveness, team morale, and retention signals.

Your Reset Playbook

A customized playbook with 3–5 prioritized plays, each with owners, timelines, and quick wins. No theory. What to do first, second, and third.

Follow-up Call

We reconnect 2–3 weeks later to see what's working, what's stuck, and what to adjust.

No retainer, no commitment, no strings. You get clarity and a plan.

This is for you if…

You're running a remote or hybrid company

You know something feels off on your team, but you can't pinpoint what.

You've never had a Head of People and you're not ready to hire one full-time.

You've tried fixes (a new tool, a culture survey, an offsite) and still feel like you're patching holes.

You care about doing right by your people AND hitting your numbers.

Built in the trenches, not the HR department.

I'm Phillip, founder of Remote Flo. I've been working remotely since 2019, across multiple time zones, cultures, and a few spectacular communication failures.

My background is in sales, business development, and marketing inside remote startups and scale-ups. I spent two years as BD Director at an HR tech startup (recruitment, immigration, EoR services), selling directly to founders and C-suite leaders who were scaling global teams. Before that, I was building partnerships at a cybersecurity firm, presenting to technical leadership across the EU and US.

I've heard the same pain from many founders: great people leaving, teams going quiet, managers who were never taught how to manage. I started Remote Flo because most of these problems are fixable, if someone catches them early enough.

I'm not a seasoned People Ops practitioner. I'm a business-minded operator who diagnoses remote team problems through a founder's lens. That's the difference.
